Prerequisites
Before running the setup wizards, confirm you have the following.
License credentials
You need two values provided by email at purchase:
- License Key
- Customer ID
Keep these available - you will enter them in the first wizard step.
Business Central access
- The setup wizards must be run by the Global Administrator of the Business Central environment. The Global Admin step grants Microsoft Entra consent for the portal connection; it cannot be delegated.
- After the wizards complete, day-to-day administration can be done by any user with the TEM Administrator permission set.
General ledger readiness
Before configuring Posting Groups (setup step 03), the relevant GL accounts and tax posting groups should already exist in Business Central. TEM does not create GL accounts - it maps to existing ones.
